JAMB has released important instructions for candidates who want to register for the 2026 UTME. These steps will help students register correctly and avoid mistakes.

Step 1: Generate Your Profile Code

Before registration, make sure your personal details are correct. This includes your NIN, email address, and O’Level or A’Level results.

How to get your profile code:

Send your 11-digit NIN to 55019 or 66019

Use this format: NIN 00000011111 (leave a space between NIN and the number)

Important to note:

Once your profile code is generated, it cannot be changed

Your personal details will be automatically taken from the NIMC database

Step 2: Buy E-PIN and Register

After getting your profile code, go to a JAMB office or any approved CBT centre to continue your registration.

Buying E-PIN: Get your E-PIN only from approved places like banks, official online platforms, or accredited CBT centres

Registration: Check all your details carefully before submitting to make sure there are no errors
